A ministry of trained worshippers

Our story

SOUND OF JOY VOICES is an interdenominational music ministry dedicated to reawakening and restoring the lost glory of hymn songs in these latter days. Through this vision, we seek to preserve the rich heritage of gospel hymns while inspiring a new generation of believers to worship God with understanding, reverence, and excellence.

Our vision

To become a leading interdenominational movement for the revival, preservation, and promotion of gospel hymnody, raising believers and worshippers who understand what they sing, believe what they sing, and live out the truth they sing.

Our mission

To reawaken the Church to the spiritual power and biblical richness of gospel hymns through worship, teaching, choral development, musical training, fellowship, and interdenominational collaboration—preserving the treasures of Christian hymnody while making them meaningful to present and future generations.

What we hold to

• Christ Above All. Every note we sing points to the Lordship of Jesus, never to a platform.
• Excellence. We rehearse, we study, we serve — because the King is worth our very best.
• Discipleship. Musicians are disciples first. We build character long before we build sound.
• Joyful Unity. Choirs, instrumentalists and sound crews serving as one body across denominations.

How we serve local churches

Everything we run is designed to send people back stronger to their own congregation. We do not build a following; we build teams. A choir member who attends the Level 1 course should return able to read their part, rehearse others and carry a healthier voice into the next twenty years of service.

Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. — Psalm 100:1
